Janus is a brand new initiative dedicated to helping students to discover more about the real-world applications of engineering as well as dispelling common misconceptions and myths around working in the industry. The project hosts resources such as case studies, Janus Talks, webinars, lesson plans and resource boxes. This will all be accessible on our website which is coming soon.
As part of the Janus programme of resources, we will be running an on-campus event for year 10 students who are interested in finding out more about the world of engineering. The day will allow students to enhance their knowledge, understanding and experience of engineering showcasing the opportunities and possibilities a career in engineering could lead to. This event also aims to help students make informed decisions about their further and higher education options.
This event is only open to school groups and we will not be taking individual bookings at this point. This event is completely free of charge.
This project is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
