Save the date – registration to be announced

The Creative Shed at Leicester College is for students in years 9 to 13 who are studying creative subjects at school or college and are contemplating careers in the creative industries.

Students will learn about creative processes from responding to a brief which will take them through concept and planning, to production and final publication.

The ‘hands-on’ workshops will give students an insight into studying creative subjects at university/higher education and creative careers going forward.

Students should choose one workshop from the following:

• Graphics and web design
• Photography and video
• Fashion and footwear design
• Dance
• Acting
• Artistic make up and special effects
• Music technology

These are subject to change.

As well as learning about the creative industries, students will find out about alternative routes to an Honours Degree and the financial support available while in higher education.

This event is open to all schools in Leicester and Leicestershire, A registration date is still to be confirmed.
