New for 2019
Primary Schools are welcome to join us for a Primary focused slot from 9.30am to 11am. Primary Schools are welcome all day, as activities and workshops will be open to everyone, however, this slot will be quieter and more focused on year 5 and year 6 aged young people.
Pathways will be exhibiting at the Showcase and are able to provide information on the range of routes through education that young people might explore.
Using programmable robots pupils will be able to draw a map to their dream career and talk to our staff about their aspirations.
As with other activities that Pathways deliver the Big Bang Northants is predominantly aimed at students from a widening participation (WP) background.
This event is open to whole year groups, but teachers may want to select students that would benefit most from an intervention of this type, particularly young women considering studying science, maths or ICT after GCSE or A Level study.Back to Activities page
